Tanveer has been with Acumen since its inception. He cut his teeth on Family Managed Businesses (FMBs) having grown up working in his own family business, which manufactured industrial machinery and equipment. He is therefore extremely conversant with the challenges in FMBs and is rightly positioned to advise and implement Change Programmes in these kinds of businesses.

Tanveer is an Economics Graduate and has completed his MBA from MET Institute of Management, Mumbai, India. He is a trained assessor on the EFQM Business Excellence Model and used the same to evaluate companies for the CII Business Excellence Awards. He is also a certified assessor for the DISC psychometric instrument. He has trained under Dr Dick McHugh and Anthony Robbins for NLP and with Landmark Education for Ontology and 'Beingness'. He often says that his teachers have also been his clients, from whom he learns more and more about entrepreneurship every day.

He has been the lead consultant in engagements with various public and private organizations in India, Australia, Sudan, Oman, Baharain and Kuwait, and has covered sectors such as Realty, Financial Services, Chemicals, FMCG and Manufacturing. He specializes in Strategic Planning, Executive Coaching, Leadership Development, Competency Framework and Large Scale Change Interventions.
