  • The Telecom Operator had its operations spread over 8 hubs and 20 circles all over India. The manner in which the operations were carried out varied from circle to circle. The requirements therefore were:
    • To understand which operation was performed at which level (Circle Level, Hub Level)
    • To identify who was responsible for a particular operation or process
    • To understand how information flowed when carrying out a particular process
    • To identify the contingency plans in case of failure
  • Based on Best Practices, Standardized Operational Procedures were documented and deployed in each telecom circle
  • Process improvements were recommended
  • Acumen also worked on the creation of a Process Repository based on the eTOM FrameWork, thereby implementing a Knowledge Management System and an Idea Management System
